TLMR First Meeting 1920-01-30

Present. RWB JB Nixon, Bros. NWJ Haydon, Thos. Pretty, RM Wallace, members of Harmony, Riverdale, St John's and Alpha Lodges, respectively.

RWB Nixon took the Chair, and Bro. Haydon acted as Secretary, and outlined the reasons for calling the meeting and the prospects for success. Several letters of regret at absence were read from other members of the NMRS, of whom there are now about 150 in this city.

It was decided to go ahead with the project, and that membership must include subscription to some journal devoted to Masonic Research. The meeting adjourned at 10 p.m. to meet again in the same place on Saturday February 28th
